Scholarship winner's experiences

The  winner of the Scholarship Fund's Essay Competition, Zebib Kidane from 9sb, visited the Munich European School for two weeks in May. She showed a slide show and told about her experiences in Munich to some classes in a fully booked computer lab in 1st of June.  Here she describes her weeks abroad.

Exchange Students from Munich at ISN

Two students from the European School of Munich visited ISN during week 21 and followed the schedule for 9sb. The whole class went to Stockholm to greet the exchange students welcome. During the School week they had time to visit eg Cosmonova.

Basketball - Semi final game in School District Championship 2005

Grade 9 boys' basket team played so succesfully that they were ready for the semi-final games.  The basketball tournament is the 2005 School District Championship in the whole Stockholm area.

Students wanted to give their aid to victims for Southeast Asia natural disaster

Week 2 in January 2005 ISN students got their opportunity to do something for the victims in the natural disaster areas in Southeast Asia. Volunteering students from grade 8 and 9 with teachers packed hygiene articles and clothes in aid boxes to be sent to Sri Lanka. The work was organized by volunteers who wanted to give the Sri Lankan embassy a helping hand in handling the huge amount of clothes and things donated in Stockholm area.




ISN students participated in a panel on Internet habits autumn 2004

An evening around the theme The Children's Net - The Net's Children was arranged in Dieselverkstaden in Nacka in September 2004. Two volunteers from grade 9 represented ISN and participated in the panel discussion about the theme in front of  the audience. The organizers were SAFT (Safety - Awareness - Facts and Tools) and Mediarådet (Media Council) together with Mediacentralen (Media central) in Nacka.
