School Year 2007-2008 End of Term Ceremonies Yr 9 had their End of Term Ceremony on Wednesday the 4th of June between 10.00-11.30 in Fisksätra church. Pre School, yr 1- yr 8 have their End of Term Ceremonies on Thursday the 5th of June in Fisksätra church according to following times. Field trips on the 28th
of May Wednesday, the 28th of May was a day for Field trips for grades 7-9. The students in yr 7 made a trip to the archipelago. Grade 8 spent a day by the Djurgårdsbro paddling och testing pedalo boats and row boats. Ninth graders hade a day in Velamsund where they paddled kayaks. |

Grade nine is writing
their own musical! Grade 9s has during the spring term written a musical of their own which is a picture of their everyday life. As a part of this creative process they were given a chance to see a musical at Dieseverkstaden performed by students at at Nacka Music School. |

6S will have PRAO in
May During the week 19 the students in 6S at the International School in Fisksätra, Nacka have an opportunity to visit a job for 1-2 days. The students will organise the placement by themselves or with the help of their parents. They can be active and ask the working places in the near environment. If the job is located close by the school, the students have their lunch at school. If it is further away, the students take a lunch box with them. |

ISN went further to
Stockholm Final in the school chess tournament Schack 4an! It was an intensive afternoon at Globen Annex on the 14th of March. After chess games until 7pm it was clear that the team ISN was ready for the regional finals. It will be held at Blå Hallen in the Stockholm City Hall on the 6th of April. Do you want to
participate in
Junior Film Contest and make a 1 minute movie? Now can all children and young people between 6-16 participate in 2008 film contest in Junior Class. First you need an idea and then you make a one minute long movie of it. You can make the movie at home with your friends or ask at school if your teacher can help you. Then you send the film to "1 minute film" and you can win an opportunity to make a new movie with pros. Study Day on Monday 28 January - students' day off! Now we have reached the next phase in the school's renovation and on Monday 28th January a number of classes will move to newly renovated class rooms. This will imply that a fair amount of furniture has to be moved in one day. Because of that we have moved a study day which was planned later on this day so that the students will not be affected by the chaos. Fritids is open as usual between 7:30 and 18:00. Creativity Day The Autumn ended up with a big Creativity Day for the whole school. The students were divided into groups according their choice of activity. They could draw Manga, make mannequin dolls with clothes, make woodwork, crochet with a hook, bake ginger bread, fold origami, make necklaces, create Christmas cards or play games in the sports hall. Some of the groups donated part of their work to the PTA bazaar at Fisksätra centre. The sales outcome will be used for student break activities. |
