Kunal Bhatnagar has recently won the Swedish chess competition Talangjakten i Schack 2008, which was held in South of Sweden in Saffle on 26th of April.

He had brought the big trophy to show in the school.

Since 2007 and 2008 Kunal Bhatnagar has been winning almost all the tournaments in Chess in Sweden in his age group and will soon represent Sweden in Nordic countries by 2009. In fact, he is well known in most of the Chess organizations in Stockholm/Sweden.

He has been the winner in all the tournaments mentioned below.

1.                   Skol-SM i schack 1 12-14 oktober 2007.

2.                   Schackfyranmästare 2007, SM-Eriksdalshallen in Stockholm.

3.                   Sportlovsschacket 2004, Östergötland   Linköping.

4.                   Bollmora SK JGP & JDM Snabb 2007 and 2008.

5.                   Vallentuna JGP 2007

6.                   JDM i blixt 2007

7.                   Hässelby JGP 2008.

8.                   Sollentuna JGP April 2008.

9.                   Talangjakten i Schack 2008
