Places and enrolments

Swedish classes
Pre-school class (förskoleklass): One class starting each autumn with 20 children at 6 years of age. Exceptions can be made for 5 year olds, permission must be granted by the municipality.

: One class starting each autumn with 26 children.
Classes 2-5
: Enrolments in accordance with occuring vacancies.
Classes 6-9
: To all classes applicants must have a satisfactory knowledge of English for the class applied to. Each new school years sees the start of a new year 6 and/or 7 if sufficient applicants can be enrolled to build a sustainable class.

English classes
Student turnover is greater in the English classes than in the Swedish classes. Students are admitted at all times of the school year.
Pre-school class: One class with 20 children in the ages of 5 years and 6 years. There is a special application procedure for 5 year olds. Detailed information is available directly from ISN.
Classes 1-5: The number, size and composition of classes varies according to age range and the number of applicants.
Classes 6-9: One class per year group with a maximum of 26per class (average number per class is 22).
