A Compulsory School with an international and multi-cultural profile

The International School in Nacka offers:
Pre-school unit and Compulsory school classes yrs 1-9 with education  in either an English or a Swedish section.
Preparatory classes for newly arrived students.
Childcare facilities are available from pre- through class 3 and there are additional facilities for children in classes 4 through 6.

The pedagogical profile of the school is fashioned through the integration of the International Baccalaureate Primary and Middle Years Programmes within the Swedish National Curriculum.
Primary Years Programme ( PYP ) for yr 0-5.
Middle Years Programme ( MYP ) for yr 6-9.
 Since 1998/99 the school has been authorised by the International Baccalaureate Organisation to pursue the programmes.

Childcare procedures and practices are in accordance with the guidelines of the National Agency for Education (Skolverkets allmänna råd).
